  1. Remember when we were in school and our eyes strayed either during a test or some other task and the teacher would tell us to keep our eyes on our own papers? Lately, I feel like saying something similar to CNN and all the other TV based news outlets. Unless a story involves a rival network (e.g., MSNBC reporting about CNN because a bomb was sent to its New York studios), mind your own business. It takes time away from the stories you should be reporting on and it gives your rivals free advertising.

  2. To play devil's advocate, any White House press secretary isn't going to be in the position long if she / he criticizes the President he / she works for, so why should we expect Huckabee - Sanders to criticize Trump (as much as it would be justified) when she's giving briefings?
