Actually, the answer is yes, but there isn't any collective will to do it right now.

@ramonpen2592 If Cillizza didn't mention something that you think should have been, that's not an example of "fake". "Fake" would've been if he made up a story that isn't true.

If the guy's not going to resign and whatever procedure Virginia has to remove a governor isn't being implemented, what else is there to the story?

@sezarsurge9037 No, like Cillizza explained in the video, once an amendment passes two-thirds of each house of Congress, three-quarters of the states have to approve it for it to go into effect.

@sezarsurge9037 You're welcome. 🙂

@sezarsurge9037 Trump's been in campaign mode since he was inaugurated. I hope the Mueller probe is done by then, but the real question should be, if it implicates Trump in any criminal activity, will the House impeach him and will the Senate remove him?

@Andrés Paz : Counties and congressional districts aren't the same thing. Electoral votes are awarded to the candidate who wins the overall popular vote of a state / DC. The only two states that are the exceptions are Nebraska and Maine.

I thought the US was the only country with something like an Electoral College?

@Holywood07 May I ask what country you're from?

@Holywood07 Now that I'm thinking about it, I do seem to vaguely remember reading that was how Switzerland conducted its national elections.

How? As it stands right now, electoral votes are awarded to the candidate who wins the popular vote of a state / DC (Nebraska and Maine being the only two exceptions). Congressional districts only come into play in Nebraska and Maine.

What about the way Nebraska and Maine award their electoral votes?
