@captinbeyond "Mommy, they do it, too!" is not an argument. There is no excuse for whoever called in this bomb threat. I am so tempted to start calling what others call "whataboutism" the "Tattletale Defense" because that's exactly what the people that use it remind me of: little children tattling on others. Mother: Suzie, you're going to be in big trouble for calling in that bomb threat. Suzie: But, Mommy, a Bernie Sanders supporter shot Rep. Scalise!

Sane people just stop watching channels they don't like. I think TLC is nothing more than a 21st century version of the old circus freak show, but you don't see me calling their studios and threatening to blow them up.

@captinbeyond Although I will agree that Trump hasn't publicly asked anyone to disrupt CNN or harm its employees, I do blame him for creating an environment in which his more unhinged supporters think they're helping him by making threats and sending bombs. And the environment in which his slightly less unhinged supporters actually think these actions are acceptable.

Kerosin Fuchs Be careful what you wish for. A government that casually ignores the First Amendment and gets away with it won't stop with just arresting the news media personalities that you don't like. Or as a wise man said, "If they'll do it for ya, they'll do it to ya."
