  1. If I was running a news network, I wouldn't even mention my competition unless it was part of a major news story (e.g., my fictitious network would've covered the story of CNN receiving bombs back in 2018).

  3.  @drakesessions3544  I still wouldn't cover what my competition says or does (again, unless it's part of a bigger story like the bombs left at CNN back in 2018) because the last thing I want to do is give my competition free advertising.

  5.  @fullyloaded4347  You obviously missed the point of my post. I'm not disputing whatever Adweek or any other ratings gatherer is concluding about CNN or any other network. I'm simply saying that it's weird for a person not involved in the industry to attach any meaning to them, especially for a network he/she supposedly dislikes.
