Comments by "retnavybrat" (@retnavybrat) on "Florida group pushes false claims of widespread election fraud" video.
A little crude, but I agree with the sentiment. 🙂

Let's say I claimed that snowflakes were purple. It's on me to prove they are, not on you to prove they're not, because I'm the one making the claim. Same thing with the claim that voting and/or election fraud occurred. It's on the accusers to prove it, not the accused to prove otherwise.

The specific claim of fraud that allowed Biden to become President is the one that's being denied, not election or voter fraud in general.

@2ellas2 Like Florida mandating its private businesses to not follow CDC advice, if they so chose, or mandating that private businesses can't train their employees as they so choose?

@2ellas2 Yes, it is the latter, but that still infringes on a company's freedom to protect its employees and customers as it sees fit.

@2ellas2 A company has always had the right to require its customers to abide by set rules or be kicked out. How does requiring a customer to wear a mask change that? It's no different, in my opinion, than requiring a customer to have clothes or shoes on to enter the business.

@2ellas2 "no but a customer can choose to give that store no business." Some people may choose not to shop in that store because it doesn't carry their preferred brand of product. Some people may choose not to shop in that store because the employees are either too formally or too casually dressed. Businesses take a risk that some customers won't patronize them with every decision that's made.

@2ellas2 "If you mandate masks and an employee can't wear one or even worse, mandate experimental vaccines, the employees choices are to conform or be without a job" Most businesses didn't have requirements in regards to what is worn at work before COVID? And no requirements in regards to protecting the health and safety of customers and other employees?

@2ellas2 I don't know exactly how you're defining "pro-mandates", but I consider myself pro-whatever-reasonable-actions-it-takes-to-protect-the-public-and-get-life-back-to-some-semblance-of-normality. And that includes the wearing of masks and getting vaccinated, if there's no legitimate medical reason otherwise.
