  1. I played with Barbies all during my childhood and I never remember thinking I had to look like her when I grew up. The only problem I had with how she looked was that every Barbie was blonde (I'm a brunette). I was envious of a couple of Black girls I used to play with because their Barbies had dark hair.

  2. ​ @ccutehoney  I do remember seeing off brand dolls that were White and brunette, but I don't remember any White brunette Barbies during the 70s.
