So how should services that your government provides (or is supposed to provide) be paid for?

@simpslayer7839 If you look at my comment again, you'll notice I did acknowledge that governments don't always deliver on the services they're supposed to provide to their citizens. However, a debate on what governments are or aren't doing wasn't really what I was aiming for. What I sincerely was curious about was what you think should replace taxes as far as government income is concerned.

@bluntcabbage6042 Did I not explain myself clearly enough? All I was asking the original poster was what he/she believed should replace taxes if she/he believes that "tax is theft and is legal slavery" (from first post in this thread)? I am not debating whether or not governments are using our taxes wisely or whether they have the right to levy them at all.
