@ivanivanov-qi1el It is totally irrelevant who donated Crimea to Ukraine, because Russia recognized Crimea as part of Ukraine in 1991 and 1994. BTW, in the 1991 referendum a majority of the people of Crimea voted for Ukraine. Russia recognized that and accepted Ukraine's final borders.

@nbell5050 So what? That doesn't make it any less valid. Otherwise Germany could reclaim Kaliningrad because "Germany only recognized Kaliningrad as Russian when Germany was weak, so that doesn't count." And what about China? Where Vladivostok is today - that is historical Chinese territorry that China was forced to cede when China was weak.

What a silly question... NATO surrounding Russia isn't a real thing.

Hey, Per, if we didn't know for sure that you are an honest, intellegent debater, we could easily mistake you for a Putin troll.

@BolshevikCarpetbagger1917 Wrong. The referendum was in preparation for independence, and shortly after that Russia recognized Ukraine's inpendence (wiht Crimea) in 1991. Russia, again, recognized Crimea as part of Ukraine in 1994. Either you are a liar or totally clueless.

@ivanivanov-qi1el Ah, I know understand your logic! "Won in a war" -> attacking your neighbour and stealing his land = valid, legitimate. "Given away" -> a peaceful transititon of territory with no bloodshed, no protests, nothign = invalid, illegitimate. A criminal's logic.

@jacquesmalanjorden9464 What people? What will? What people want what?

@GaryGraham-sx4pm What makes you think so?

@Slavic_Goblin That is idiotic. And you know it. Don't pretend to be a fool. The Crimean referendum is illegal because it was done during occupation, and it has been faked anyway. No one forced Russia to recognize Ukraine's borders in 1991 and 1994. If you doubt that, you could doubt any international treaty as well. And give the Vladivostok territory back to China. Troll.

@gaming4life788 Who?

@GaryGraham-sx4pm Ah... okay.
