  1. Uneductaed Putin fanboys spreading fake news... "Kievan Rus" means that there was a state centered around Kiev in the middle ages and the people there called themselves "Rus". Which just means that the ancestors of modern Ukrainians had the name "Rus" first, long before the Moscow people had it. It doesn't mean that Ukrainians are "Russian" in the modern meaning of that word.
