  1. As much as I welcome Elon Musk's stated purpose of making Twitter more amenable to free speech, it's disheartening that a platform like Twitter exists. Other than being a source for the dissemination of certain videos, I don't see the value of Twitter. A social media website that limits output of rhetoric to 250 characters (or whatever it is) is paltry compared to long-form modes of communication, like blogs. Tweets are thin gruel and only Wildean witticisms have the least import.
