  1. I think it has something to do with them enjoying being in a position of helplessness to their partner. That's my best guess, I don't even know if my partner 100% knows why she enjoys it.

  2. It may well be the same pathway, but if a given couple mutually consents to a non-harmful act, I don't think it's morally wrong. Just... be safe about it, and keep in private.

  4. I don't think you're wrong, but some women who have never been abused by a partner are into it. Sometimes it develops naturally. I don't think a given kink having dark evolutionary orgins makes it immoral for a consenting couple to partake in it.
