  1. Saying that it's always wrong to unalive someone else isn't a feature of deontology, it's a feature of bad ideology. A deontologist with a sane and well developed moral code will have the proper carveouts to allow unaliving someone in emergencies or to preserve life. Furthermore, a sufficiently sophisticated code could see this used as a means to balance the scales of cosmic justice so to speak. Practically every society in history has had the unalive penalty for severe crimes, and that includes strongly deontoligistic ones.
