  1. Why? Why did we need this? I like strong women, but James Bond is and always has been a man. I watched A View to a Kill with my Mistress last month. It wasn't a great movie, it really hasn't aged well. But one thing really stood out to me. The villain's primary henchman was badass. I always got the impression that she was stronger, meaner and more dangerous than our hero, James Bond. Making James Bond a woman isn't some big progressive step forward, we've always had strong female characters. All you're doing is ruining an existing character beloved by fans, both male and female, in the name of trying to appear progressive.
