  1. ive never seen FMA, but alucard from hellsing ultimate is quite possibly the most powerful character in all of anime. in his orignal form, he has the power of millions of souls he has killed. he is virtually immune to nearly any mortal weapon, even sunlight, silver and blessed weapons aren't able to stop him. he can gain the abilities of any enemy who he defeats and feasts on. he even has the power of several other vampires, some of which could arguably be a match for some of the weaker characters on this list. but all of this is completely overshadowed by one important and often overlooked fact: at the end of hellsing ultimate, alucard finally mastered the power of schrödinger. he became less of a character and more of a living paradox, a being who has transcended reality, who exists everywhere yet nowhere in this reality. theoretically only the destruction of all of existence itself could destroy him.

  2. i was thinking the same thing... he should probably have been in top 5 at least. while having the power of a million souls is impressive, at the very end of hellsing ultimate when he harnessed the power of schrödinger, he may just have become the single most powerful character in all of anime... and likely one of the most dangerous characters in all of fiction, ever. still, i guess the list wasn't necessarily in order of who could beat who, nor was it really meant to be.

  4. josh pisio deadpool might be a pretty decent match for alucard at release level 1, but i doubt he'd stand much of a chance at all against him at release level 0. if we were to give alucard the power of schrödinger that he acquired at the end of hellsing ultimate, then he becomes basically entirely invincible to all but the really heavy hitters. even herald of galactus deadpool simply has no way to put schrödinger empowered alucard down. (yes, that actually happened, deadpool did become a herald of galactus in one storyline :P)

Alec Cruz nor would saitama be able to beat alucard. it would be unstoppable force meets intangible object. saitama would lack the means to put down alucard anywhere beyond the physical plane, and alucard would struggle to harm saitama physically, although there is a possibility of him resorting to some sort of mind/ soulfuckery

  9. i think that after acquiring the power of schrödinger at the very end of hellsing ultimate, alucard may just have become one of the absolute most powerful anime characters ever. he is completely unkillable by any physical attack, and became something of a god. with the power of schrödinger, he can will himself to exist anywhere, nowhere, or everywhere all at once. no weapon or power that exists within the 4 dimensions of normal existence can kill him. he became less of a person, and more of an immortal, untouchable higher power that can choose to take on a living form at will if he so chooses.

  10. because we dont actually know the extent of saitama's true power. saitama may indeed be more powerful, than goku, but this wasn't necessarily about the most powerful anime characters of all time in order, it takes into account other factors including power in their respective universe. if it was a linear list, then alucard would likely be number one due to having the power of schrödinger.
