There is no circumstance where a government will do more good with money than the businesses and individuals they steal it from. Governments are wasteful by default, they are like addicts with no impulse control, except they claim a legal right to seize our income.

@ScorgRus Governments are fundamentally no different from the mafia in how they operate. Taxes are a racketeering scheme, you are forced to pay them a large portion of your income in exchange for "protection" and other services. Unlike a proper service, if you try to opt out, you will go to prison or possibly be shot by the IRS. This isn't about under-performing. Our governments are not intended to serve us in any way. When governments steal our money and send it overseas to arm terrorist groups or use that money to run a massive surveillance state on our own people, that is the government working as intended. Replacing politicians will not fix the rot at the very core of our system, the whole thing needs to be torn down.
