The A-26 commonly mounted up to 8 in the nose, 6 in the wings and 4 in the turrets for 18 total. Some variants had gun pods mounted on either the wings or fuselage that added between 4 and 8 barrels. The theoretical maximum amount of M2s on an A-26 was 8 in the nose, 6 in the wings, 8 in wing mounted gunpods (2 pods of two guns per wing) 4 in fuselage gunpods (2 twin pods) and the 4 turreted guns, bringing the total to 30 guns, although the gunpods were rarely installed on examples of the aircraft with guns integrated into the wings, and I don't know of any real life examples with both wing and fuselage gunpods installed. It seems that the US army air force may have obtained the unachievable feat of having enough dakka.

Brigador is an old classic. The armored bulldozer has to be one of my favorite vehicles, and the Ma Deuce is one of the best weapons of its class. Of course I'm completely biased because I love the M2.

The Dshk and the Kord are lighter than the M2, but the kord suffers from recoil problems and neither of them have anything like the accuracy of the M2. The M2 is more accurate than modern sniper rifles, while being much more reliable than and packing the same punch as the Dshk and Kord. Besides, the M2 is the original, and the fact that it is fully able to hold its own is a testament to the quality of its design.
