  2. @Hertz2laugh Its not so rare in adults​; you just aren't aware of them and/or their issues, because they weren't identified, diagnosed or labled as such; and very few were main-streamed before the 1970's. Autism runs in my family on both sides to varying degrees; 3 out of 5 of my immediate family are affected, one born in 1934 others @ 1960. Each of them is extremely gifted in some area (engineering & design) but far behind in other areas (social skills, literacy, general studies). All are highly productive taxpaying entrepreneurs who overwork constantly and keep to themselves.
