  2. My heart goes out to the family during this very sad time. Fortunately, they seem to have found the other boat; so hopefully we can learn more, to prevent similar accidents. I missed the news coverage, so have many safety related questions: Was the tow boat flying a ski flag? Did she have a colorful PFD/vest? Did they have a spotter(s) and signal devices? Did the spotter attempt to signal the other boat with flags, horn, arms/towels waving, etc.? Were they in an appropriate low-traffic area suitable for skiing? ALWAYS REMEMBER: SAFETY FIRST!
