I'm an atheist and I don't have a dog in this race, I just clicked because art history good. That turned into an immediate hard pass when you start projecting trinitarian christian dogma onto the ark of the covenant. If you think that God secretly intended it to be foreshadowing of Christ, then that's a statement of faith, but it was almost certainly not the intent of the people who actually constructed the thing.

@ I wouldn’t say it’s strictly materialist, considering Jews believe the ark is from god and dont ascribe the trinity to it. Muslims might also, but I’d don’t know enough about their beliefs to say. Otherwise, that’s fair I guess. It still bothers me that it’s treated as unambiguously about the trinity, though I guess I can blame that on the algorithm leading me to a strictly orthodox channel without that prior context.
