@Seattlefan77 I dont think the point of that quote is that humans are all stupid, just that humans are capable of doing some really dumb stuff. That being said, there's truth to the saying that humans in large numbers being stupid, panicky animals. Something about crowd dynamics and tribalism just turns off the reasonable parts of people's brains.
