This is only tangentially related I visit the NFT subreddit every now and then, part out of curiosity and part-schaudenfraude. For the longest time they held on to the cope that the NFT crash was "good" for the market because it weeded out the scams (it didn't, it just made them even more desperate). Last I checked, they finally conceded that the NFT marketplace is dead, but the new cope is that they'll come surging back once the "real" projects come about.
