Why do you think it's evil? Allowing churches to be tax-exempt is already ridiculously generous as it is, and they're free to speak out on issues if they give it up. Fair is fair, the public should not pay to allow churches to rally on issues they may not agree with.

@LC-th1wm He only started "abusing his right to ask questions" when Trump dodged a tough question with "how about you let me be president" ie a total non-answer. Also that video of him "assaulting" that lady was doctored - sped up to make it look like he karate chopped her or whatever. The origional video isn't even close to assault... Unless, that is, you agree with the SJWs and think even light touching is sexual assault?

Whites have only been in America for some 500 years, their majority would be replaced by the descendants of people who have been there for far longer, and not even full blooded descendants. If you were born a century and a half ago, you'd be freaking out about German and Irish immigrants instead. That "nightmare" has come to pass, and nobody cares or even notices.

@outkast187 While the evidence towards IQ in this case is purely circumstantial, the way Trump frequently blurts out incorrect statements (the most recent example is his tweet today lambasting California for wildfire mismanagement, ignoring the underlying factors for the deadlier wildfires, and that most California's forests are held federally) suggests a severe incuriousity that doesn't lend well to his intelligence, so no i wouldn't say he is above average intelligence. Either that or he has ADHD. As for Obama's intelligence, could you provide examples of what you're talking about?

@outkast187 Do you have a link for these? I can find some excerpts but not others. The 57 states thing in particular seems to be a gaffe, not that he actually thought there were 57 states. If you look at the context he mentions "really wanted to visit Alaska and Hawaii", and he had "one left to go", so he probably meant 47 states but misspoke. Compare and contrast to Trump's tweet about California, Trump had all the time in the world to check and correct himself but sent it off anyway.

Goomba Lives Matter Then learn Japanese in your own time. Spanish is taught as a second language in the US because that's the language you'll interact most with. Same reason us in Australia are taught Japanese (although I think these days it'd be more relevant to teach Mandarin instead)

E Johnson Your problem seems to be more fundamentally with taxes than the johnson amendment. That is a completely different conversation, but tell me: under a system where taxing is considered moral, is it fascism to go after a church that is political yet refuses to pay taxes when every other political organisation pays taxes? And please don't engage in whataboutism, that's an old communist tactic to muddy the waters and deflect personal failings with the failings of others.if there are other organisations that are political yet tax exempt then that is a problem, but it doesn't make tax exempt political churches any less of an issue.

E Johnson The churches are already tax-exempt, yet you think you're being oppressed because you're not allowed to both rally and keep that tax exemption. The public should not be forced to pay for churches to become political organisations that they may be against.

Larry Carter Christians can and do have influence, shit their churches are tax-exempt. They have more rights than political organisations, so if they want to become a political organisations they need to give up those privileges.
