  7.  @seanspencer7851  Life sentences are actually way cheaper than death sentences because of the associated legal costs, and his life would be fucking miserable inside a cell.

  8.  @seanspencer7851  That “overwhelming evidence of guilt” is established by the court, and it’s not a “what if”. Even now mistakes have been made. Innocent people have been executed. Your idea would mean even more of that.

  11.  @seanspencer7851  What happens if one or even some of those convicted killers and child touchers end up being innocent with later evidence? The state will have committed murder on innocent people - just about the worst thing a justice system can do. I get wanting to be rid of these people, but these legal checks and balances are in place for a reason. And it's not like they're having a good time behind bars.
