  9. I remember being assigned this book back in high school, after Pride and Prejudice. I hated reading P&P so much that I eventually gave up used sparknotes to finish the assignment. When I was assigned BNW however, I was so fascinated by the world and the concepts on display that I read the whole book twice by the time the class was finished. The teacher even noticed how much I liked the book and gave me a copy of the movie to tide me over while the class caught up. The movie sucked but I gladly watched it anyway lol. I find myself thinking back to this quite a lot because of the almost perfect juxtaposition.
