Now as for your question - that depends - I've read a bit on this issue, but from what I've seen, the majority of the nonwhite population in London is Bangladeshi, ie unrelated, at least, directly to the current migrant crisis. You didn't mention that but I see it commonly conflated. I honestly don't see the demographic changes as all that important, but London itself at least does seem set for change in that aspect. Yet, London has always played host to foreigners of some stripe, up to and including the French Normans straight up conquering it, who, by the way, ended up being absorbed into the English identity. Frankly, I consider this issue something of a side show to climate change - the real pants shitter of this century. Yet, I think this current controversy could have been avoided with some honest discussion about what it means if the demographics are changing, even if people can't agree on whether they are. A severe failing on the behalf of the EU and its constituent governments, who tried to kick the can down the road and ignore this. Now it's just two massive groups yelling rhetoric at eachother and not actually getting anywhere
