If you gave the catholic church modern weaponry in its heyday as well as a larger population, you'd almost certainly see deaths rivalling and exceeding the communists.   2. to be fair, satan's pretty nice compared to yahweh. Satan's only killed a handful of people, some with the direct permission of yahweh, while yahweh's committed multiple genocides up to and including drowning the entire world in a massive flood for no reason. That's not to mention the jealousy, manipulation and torture. I think they're both fairy tales but if they were real i'd choose satan any day of the week, he might be an asshole but yahweh is a psychopath that makes stalin look well adjusted
