Ethan Yeckley I’m not going to have decorum for people who act in bad faith, this started because of that obvious racist coming in calling everybody “soy boys” and weak men. He’s not looking for an informed discussion, so I obliged. Odd that you missed that in your little analysis. People in general look down on conservatives because they either deny or refuse to do anything about climate change, let their leaders blow smoke up their ass as healthcare is gutted, and refuse to speak up against the presidents rampant fearmongering against Latinos and Muslims.The world is on fire and republicans refuse to do anything but add fuel, so forgive me if my contempt is showing.

Ethan Yeckley I have a lot more to say on climate change so for now I’ll stick to that and turn to the others later. I agree that The Democratic Party is fucking pathetic on climate change as well, but the GOP actively fosters an environment of denial, even when Republicans in power don’t deny it, they paint it as a far off threat. It’s happening right now . You and I, and any children we may harbour are going to grow up in the consequences of climate inaction. I do not currently have children, but I have a niece, and I’ve lost a good amount of sleep over the potentially uninhabitable world we’re handing off to her. I agree that solving climate change isn’t just the governments job, it’s everybody’s job including the governments. Everybody including republicans, who tend more often than not to deny climate change and efforts made to avert it. The problem is enormous and complex, and needs to be attacked from many angles. The inaction and half-measures are going to be the end of us.

oh, and in regards to Melanin Farmer, this isn't just an edgy joke here and there, his channel in generally seems quite racially charged. when you see favourites of speeches from actual nazis like Mike Enoch, he's either the most committed edgelord on the planet or legitimately a racist piece of shit.
