  1. Just because an embryo has its own DNA and genetic structure doesn't mean it's "human" in the commonly understood context. Yes, it can be classified as human in a taxonomical sense, but it doesn't yet think or feel like one.

  2. Contraceptives can fail, things don't always work out as intended, doesn't mean a couple should spend the next 18 years paying for it, the mother in particular for the next 9 months.

  3. MK Drew When do they develop these nerve endings? Is the nervous center active at that point? How formed is the brain at that point? Making sweeping general statements like that is reductive.

  5. Matthew Milone what exactly dies depends on when you have the abortion. If it’s late-term, then yes you’re killing a baby and I think that is wrong, but if it’s early term then you’re killing a zygote, something less sentient than a mosquito. A couple shouldn’t have to pay 18 years of their life for a mistake. Raise quality children, not quantity.
