Comments by "Be N S O N" (@Colddirector) on "This Is What The Life Of An Incel Looks Like (HBO)" video.
Pointing out problems with broader society doesn't magically make the incel community any less delusional. That's called a whataboutism, it's a classic communist tactic.

People who identify as incels are frankly a statistically insignificant portion of the populace, one that does not face any significant statistical scrutiny, and you're comparing them with literally everybody else, so of course there's going to be a lot more crimes and abuse in the "normie" community. I cannot imagine a dataset more skewed. If there were 300 million incels, I'm sure they'd be "as predictable as Sims characters". That isn't to say that those things you mentioned aren't a problem, but that hardly makes the incel community functional by comparison.

Nick G. That's an entirely different issue. Most of the incel videos are focusing on the outlandish and toxic comments that exist in your community. The reason why people are saying they're violent is because between Rodger and that other guy earlier this year, there have been incidents, even for a community this small. Now, the toxicity and lack of empathy in this comment section is problematic, but most of them in themselves are responding to toxic behaviour within the incel community. Neither is acceptable, but neither negates the other. Look, lashing out at the "normies" like this isn't really helpful, it just justifies them to lash back at you. The high ground is worth maintaining, even if just for tactical reasons.

its a little disturbing how everybody's using this situation as a political cudgel. My opposition are clearly all incels and they're inferior to people like ME in every way. Then again, people use ISIS as a political cudgel too. We can't even unite against a problem without using it to beat others over the head. This endless politicisation of every single issue is a fucking cancer. A rot that's festered into society and made us increasingly unable to solve the problems that affect us all. We've become so convinced that everyone else are irredeemable scumbags and we need to oppose them that, in some ways, we become irredeemable scumbags because we refuse to budge even a little bit on any issue because that's "ceding ground" to the enemy. The worst part is that people may read this and think it's only talking about the left, or the right, and not them because they're obviously the only reasonable actors. ...Well, I'm just depressed now.
