  3. It wierds me out a little to think a little that, like Lynn, we will be among the last remnants of our times some day. The turn of the millennium, 9/11, the rise of the internet, meme culture, all of that will be just a memory of a few old men and women. As much as a memory as the black days of the Second World War, and Lynn’s small part in that grand drama. I guess that’s the true key to eternal youth - become a part of history, and everyone will remember you as you were.

  20. It’s so hard to imagine that there was once a time where you could just jump on a jet and go. Now we don’t just have hours worth of security to get through, we also have to use masks. There are now legal adults who were not alive for “normal” travel.
