  2. ChaoZ ;D ehhhhh, there's plenty of good biographical videos about Hitler out there already. The one by Vernaculis is incredible, if not long winded (clocks in at about an hour IIRC)

  4. 1. Many of those monuments are relatively new, erected well after the Civil War and into the 20th-21st centuries. 2. They’re usually erected around times of racial strife, making their intent very clearly not at all about history. 3. Most of them wouldn’t even be destroyed, just moved to museums. Comparing taking down Confederate statues to the destruction of Chinese cultural artifacts is insultingly disingenuous.

  6. You do realize he gave away pretty much all of his money bribing the nazis just to protect them, right? There are many avenues from which to attack capitalism, this is not one.

  7. Schindler is proof that practically anyone can be a hero, in the best possible way. He was a deeply flawed man, bad at business, and an adulterer, was likely not to be regarded well after his death. But he stepped up when it really mattered, and bled himself dry to save others when so many chose to do nothing. That alone shines through any personal failings. Anyone can be a hero, all you need is the bravery to act when the opportunity presents itself.
