This is pretty drastic but it might be time to start targeting YouTube’s advertisers. This will have collateral damage but I don’t see any other realistic way to retaliate against YouTube’s blatant corruption. You could also contact journalists and make some pretty damning and credible allegations - YouTube silencing critics of a known homophobe during Pride Month would look fucking awful for them

@Sllort well you can’t say “we” are the problem if we’re what little counterbalance there is against YouTubes corruption.

@Sllort If every one of critikals viewers quit YouTube forever tomorrow, they’d still be just fine off the back of their kid friendly and corporate content. If anything, they’d be way better off.

There is one thing we can do, but it’s pretty drastic and will affect content creators - target YouTube’s advertisers. Go to the media. This will probably mean another adpocalypse but play your cards right and YouTube will be at least more cautious about fucking over its creators in the future.
