  2. gentblue that’s a terrible analogy. you’re not going to get sick from germs you yourself exhaled. The only way your metaphor would be correct is if we were sharing masks, which is absolutely not what they’re suggesting.

  5. haha LOL haha I’ve read around a bit, and homemade masks do reduce exposure, although they aren’t nearly as effective as medical grade masks. I think they’ll at least stop the droplets, but probably not the aerosols. Additionally, if you get sick it’ll stop you from spreading it around, which is the point of the lockdown after all - starve the virus out by depriving it new hosts.
