@powbobs I think the logic is to shoot down Trump's accusations that he's being controlled by "radical leftists" by cavorting with all these Republicans and cops. The only hitch is that Trump doesn't care and will accuse him of being controlled by radical leftists anyway, and you'll potentially depress the leftist vote, so you've lost on both counts.
