  1. "Woke" is offensive because it's extremely patronising to the people in purports to "protect". "Woke" has its origins in a bunch of bored, self-righteous, prejudice-affirming, callow white youths believing that various minority groups are too "stupid" and/or "feeble" to defend themselves from a perceived "onslaught" from an ill-defined "white, right-wing patriarchy". The whole notion of "woke" is ill-conceived, infantile and ultimately about intolerance of opposing opinions.
