@Pale Rider Why "Westernise" her in that case? As far as most Muslims are concerned, her "natural", "law-abiding" state is when she's a Jihadist. So, she's not in need of "rehabilitation". There's something more subtle and insidious going on in my view...

She's on record as saying she "hated her life in the UK", so why wouldn't she be happier in Bangladesh, where she shares religion with the majority of the population? Anyway, I see this conversation is starting to devolve in the way it always does when attempting to debate a callow, millennial SJW (your use of the term "boomer" is a dead giveaway as to your age group (and just FYI, I'm not a "boomer")): you haven't got any actual arguments, so you resort to the ad hominem attack strategy. Opinions are neither "right" nor "wrong", nor is one person's more important than another's. It's kind of sad that I actually have to explain this point...I suspect it's another deficiency in the education system these days. @robertwilson3866 She "dumped" herself on a foreign country, namely Syria, in order to support the terrorist effort there. She made her choice and now she has to live with the consequences. She was either old enough to be responsible for her own actions or she wasn't...can't have it both ways. Personally, I think her treatment would be exactly the same regardless of her ethnicity.

What other countries do with their terrorist sympathisers is their business, and of no interest to me. We trust that Greta Thunberg is well informed and truthful when she tells us that the Earth is going to end. We trust kids the same age as Shamima Begum was at the time with bank accounts, and mobile phones...some loons even want to give them the vote. All this indicates to me that Shamima Begum was old enough to make an "informed decision" when she did what she did. As I said before: she made her choice, and now she lives with the consequences. Anyway, it's been confirmed by the Supreme Court that she held dual nationality (UK/Bangladesh) at the time, so she has not been left stateless or optionless, and hence the Home Office have done nothing illegal by revoking her British citizenship. In fact they had a perfect right to do so. Personally, I think this is better treatment than she deserves.
