  2. "Net zero" is fantasy. It is simply unachievable. So long as the human population of Earth continues to increase, and so long as that population demands the "First World" lifestyle it believes it's "entitled" to, energy usage is going to grow. "Renewables" cannot possibly service that demand for energy. The answers are: a) figure out nuclear fusion pretty damned quick, b) drastically reduce the human population and its demand for energy or c) learn to live with climate change. "Net Zero" is NOT the answer, and is only pushed by people who don't really know what they're talking about, or have some personal financial interest in "green" technology.
