I genuinely believe that environmental concerns are important, and I'm horrified by the way they've been hijacked by idiots like "Insulate Britain" and "XR" as a "legitimisation" of trouble-making on the one hand, and by energy companies as a revenue-stream on the other hand. All the while, China (the world's largest polluter by far, and shortly to be the world's largest consumer of resources) is laughing at us agonising over whether we should turn on the central heating or not...
