  1. Macron's right on one count: the dinghies are partly our fault. Not because of Brexit, but because we give them handouts. Of course, most of the blame lies with France for not turning them away at their southern border and allowing them unhindered passage across their country to Calais.

  2. I'm out pounding the streets delivering leaflets for Reform tomorrow. I don't particularly want to give up my Saturday, but I'm so sick of the BS, incompetence, dirty tricks and outright treachery of our government that I feel I've got to do something, even if it is "small potatoes". Our situation is becoming desperate.

  3. Can someone actually explain how "one-in-one-out" is supposed to work? It seems to me that it's going to have no effect on the numbers arriving...they're simply going to be reclassified as "legal" and have regular benefits lavished on them rather than being out up in luxury hotels...
