  2. Andrew's spot on again. "Cis" is an absolute nonsense term whose sole purpose is to give "gender theory" a kind of "quasi-academic" feel. Some "bright spark" at DeFourthrate University has noticed that "cis" is the opposite of "trans" in Latin, and tried to make themself sound "intellectual" by using the term to describe people who don't conform to their particular warped world view.
