  1. Isn't it odd that whenever you see an early film from about 1900 showing everyday life on the streets of London, there's not a single black face to been seen? I wonder where the "20000 black inhabitants of London" went between 1800 and 1900...?

  2. Trouble is, we live in an era of extreme ignorance and poor education. People seem to genuinely lack the ability to distinguish between "sensible" and "silly" these days. If these kinds of lies are repeated often enough by people who have the appearance of "authority", they kind of "become" the accepted "truth".

I think she's getting the stokers of the Royal Navy confused with black people... ...Actually, I made that remark as a joke...but thinking about it, it seems plausible that someone somewhere is being disingenuous to such a degree that they're actually using the idea of people covered in coal dust as "justification" for the ludicrous assertion that "half the Royal Navy was black". That's the level of insanity we're dealing with when it comes to the "woke", "historical revisionist" crowd...
