Just some of the factors are: 1) Police scared of being branded "racist", and hence reluctant to carry out their duty. 2) Police worried about escalating the situation into more general rioting, which is a distinct possibility given the "identity politics" bloc mindset...and exactly what the organisers of this riot were (presumably...) hoping to spark off. 3) The bizarre notion that seems to have insinuated itself into society at large that ill behaviour from black people ought to be overlooked because they're just "levelling up" for decades of "white privilege" and "institutional racism". 4) Decades of largely consequence-free crime under the laughable name of "Liberal Democracy" (or as anyone with half a brain calls it: "breakdown in law and order").

@rikardogibola1312 The consequences of being branded racist are "trial by social media" and subsequent "cancellation", loss of job, social pariah status, possible "doxing" and even physical attacks from far left "activists"... ...not a very appetising prospect...
