  1. You don't understand what it means, because it doesn't "mean" anything. It's deliberate verbosity designed to conceal the flimsiness of the "ideology". It's a pattern repeated across all the social science and humanities disciplines...in fact all branches of "academia" that are opinion rather than fact.

I don't know who wrote this "Racism: a short introduction" (I think I can probably imagine the type of person without too much difficulty, however...), but I was itching for them to display their ignorance and cite "Carolina" as an example of a "feminised place name"! 😂 "Carolina" was named after King Charles..."Carolinus" being the Latin form of "Charles"
