I don't think it's about laziness as such. I think it's willful misinterpretation as a means of generating mock outrage and hence reinforcing anti-white prejudice.

When I was a trainee teacher, there was a young Asian girl in my class whose name was "Negaar" (pronounced very nearly like the "N-word")...the only people who were "outraged" about this were members of the teaching staff (a pretty gruesome gang of rabid left-wingers)...the kids (of any ethnicity) didn't seem remotely bothered by it...

And yet people of a "certain demographic" are quite a liberty to use the extremely offensive term "white privilege" without any concern at all for the emotional damage it does to white people. What a strange world we live in.

@seekwisdom7757 I don't remember much about this particular girl (it was all a long time ago), other than she seemed very pleasant...which is more than can be said for some of the staff at the school...
