  1. The essential problem is the the UK's economy actually produces very little of fundamental value...all our primary and secondary industry is gone. Everything is now centred around the tertiary (service) sector...which essentially does nothing other than shuffle money around rather than creating new wealth. The only way it can grow is by continual expansion of the consumer base...hence the reason for importing ever more consumers...the price we pay for maintaining the standard of living we've come to expect. It's a "smoke-and-mirrors" economic model, clearly unsustainable in the long term, and it will ultimately lead to the collapse of the British economy and probably nation.
