  1. I'm reminded of the controversy that surrounded the "Brass Eye Paedophilia Special" about 20 years ago. The knee-jerk, professionally outraged press immediately decried it as an endorsement of paedophilia (largely without actually having seen it) when, of course, it was actually a dig against the knee-jerk, professionally outraged press themselves.

This is the danger of people who've received an "indoctrination" masquerading as an "education", courtesy of Blair's "reforms" of the early part of the century: they're utterly convinced of their own rectitude to the extent that they don't need to consider contentious issues for themselves because they know they're "right". It's akin to blind faith in the absolute truth of the Bible or Koran. Society went through many painful centuries of overcoming such backward thinking. Unfortunately, it seems that the dogmatic, "woke" Left are determined to drag us into a new Dark Ages.

  4. I agree: the advocates of "woke" are constantly snapping at the heels of decent society...trying to wear it down and get it to concede ground in order to transform the world into their own warped vision. Lines need to be drawn.
