Is it perhaps the (deliberately...) inculcated notion that black people "shouldn't" like "white" music, because it's somehow a facet of "the racist establishment"?   26. It's nothing to do with "intelligence". The "Liberal/Left Elite" like to believe that they're more "enlightened" than the "ordinary knuckle-draggers" (look at the incredibly patronising attitude they have towards Brexiteers). They're not clever enough, however, to understand that it's their policies on immigration that are causing the breakdown of society, not "bigoted thugs".

Now he's yesterday's news, he's resorting to the same trick all washed-up celebs do to try and revive their flagging careers: whipping up "controversy" in order to boost his online profile with retweets from the "woke" brigade.
