  3.  @Kattaz0309 , yes they are very normal for the eastern shore areas of all the Great Lakes. The areas in upstate New York are well known for extreme amounts of snowfall and regular blizzards every winter. Syracuse, New York, which is on the eastern end of Lake Ontario, is known for having the most snow accumulations of all metropolitan areas on the entire North American continent. It’s because Syracuse gets lake effect snow from Lake Erie too. Buffalo, New York comes in at #2 for the most snow. It only gets lake effect snow from Lake Erie.
