Shenzen cannot be a HongKong because it has no identity but Hong Kong does:) Through watching the protest of Hong Kong, now I understand that why HongKong people claim that they are not Chinese! Of course if Chinese economy was in running with free-market system since 1970s, it would have attracted much more foreign investment into Chinese domestic market. However for the last 40 years, Chinese government as a matter of fact did protectionism in the execuse of developing economy:) Long story short Chinese economy should have taken free and open trade system from the beginning, however CCP didn't do that because of its one party system:) And now Chinese government is going into even worse situation with its tremendous debts. How long Chinese economy can go? My calculation is that Chinese economy would be collapsed before end of 2021 unless reach the agreement with USA. But President Trump yesterday officially declared that the case (with China) closed... You know that Trump is a man of his words.
