  2. Peter knowledge of Bitcoin always improves a little each time I see him talk about it.  The rich bankers have the lions share of gold now. Many people have no gold. Approximately 50% of people on the planet don't live in houses with plumbing. If everyone tries to get gold, only a relative few have it.

  5. Pete never got Bitcoin. Bitcoin is multiple things including an electronic payment system that banks don't control. The other alternatives are banks and credit unions etc. Physical metal is a hopeless payment system compared to digital. That is why people generally don't trade gold and silver (it is suitable for stone age times).

With a a rising Hispanic and Asian voting base vs a decreasing European voting base...America is heading down the socialist path. This is all about the maths. For good or bad, it is what its is. I'm powerless in regards to buying up and distributing meaningful quantities of gold to the people on the planet who have none. My contributions to society comes via other means.   24. Gold and silver are fine but they don't serve to service the billions digital transactions ppl make. Digital transactions have great worth due to the fact they make peoples lives easier. Digital communications serve a purpose also.

At this stage, two bullion companies have each sold over 10 million equivalent worth of bullion via the Bitcoin payment network. Now Schiff's Europac accepts bitcoins. Oh Peter Shiffles…gold and silver are not everything. If gold was great money, businesses would accept it everywhere…..after all, it has been around long enough. Thousands of years….blah blah

This subject is very complicated & polarising. Ones cultural outlook & emotion skews things. Example: You have quoted "good" which is unfair but surely suits your agenda.   44. I'm not an advocate for a gold standard. Gold has it's uses. Historically, it has been used as currency and for bodily adornment. It is still used as currency and as a store of wealth. My comment was in relation to drawn out and poor analogy. It was not in relation to whether booms and busts are natural or not.

It is the growing Hispanic and Asian populations that are enough to push the elections to democrat. 4 out 5 of America's "majority minority' states voted for Hillary in 2016 (lack of white ppl). Texas was the only one that did not, but Texas will go blue for good by 2030. Florida is on the edge too.

I am pointing out voting statistics and population trends. I have nothing against Asians and Hispanics. I am just pointing out that via their voting habits in particular America is going more and more socialist. I've heard at least one democrat openly point out that demographics matter. I don't expect ppl of non-European heritage generally to give a fhck about preserving American or western capitalist cultures.

Just because govts provide social programs, this does not make the country socialist. Under true socialism, the govt controls the means of production. America and New Zealand are strongly ca[pitalist based. The same applies to European countries (despite the high taxes in some).
